Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the academic program.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulatory requirements.

Staff Development and Management:

  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate academic staff to maintain high standards of teaching.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional learning community among staff.
  • Organize and provide professional development opportunities for teachers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Student Achievement and Support:

  • Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support diverse learners and ensure academic success for all students.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement among students and staff.
  • Oversee academic counseling and support services to help students achieve their full potential.

Parental and Community Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively with parents about academic programs, student progress, and school initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community to support student learning and well-being.
  • Represent the school in academic forums, conferences, and community events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field; Doctorate preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of academic leadership in an international school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of international curricula and educational standards.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of educators.
