The Protege Operations at the Bus Department is responsible for assisting in overseeing the daily operations of bus services, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service. This role involves supporting the coordination of schedules, assisting in staff management, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising and coordinating daily bus operations to ensure punctuality and efficiency.
  • Support monitoring and management of driver schedules, ensuring optimal route coverage.
  • Conduct routine inspections and assist in enforcing safety regulations for buses and personnel.
  • Handle and help resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure buses are in proper working condition.
  • Support training and mentoring of drivers and operational staff to maintain service quality and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing operational reports and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to local transport regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for service enhancements and operational efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency situations, coordinating with relevant authorities when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management potential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling and fleet management software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in customer service management within the transportation industry is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills for operational improvement and efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
