Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure seamless execution. Obtain all necessary permits and approvals before project commencement and ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop workflows to monitor worker efficiency and material usage, minimising wastage and optimising cost.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure all project components are on track and aligned with target delivery dates. Adjust work programs as needed to maintain alignment with project timelines.
  • Anticipate potential issues ahead of schedule, identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent future challenges. Identify and implement process enhancements to accelerate work progress.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality standards through robust processes and regular checkpoints.
  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to track project milestones and provide regular updates to project director and senior management, ensuring informed decision-making, transparency and alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or any other relevant field
  • At least 10 years working experience in construction and/or project management. Experience in high rise projects using system formwork is preferred.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, proactive, and technically competent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
