Job Description:
- To report the performance of OHS management system to the top management.
- Managing and coordinating of all security matters for the project site;
- Ensure a safe working place for all site staff and workers as refer to the OHS regulations;
- Issue Notice of Non-Compliance (NNC) and penalties to contractor to those who disregards and fail to comply with site Safety & Health regulations;
- Liaise with all relevant local authorities:
a. To be the assistant secretary of the project Safety and Health committee organization and to conduct safety meeting regularly;
b. To collect and maintain statistic of any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and diseases at the work site;
c. To report to the Project Manager or Director of any impedance or obstruction to safety implementation;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics when required.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and Managers
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Assist the management in solving Safety & Health problem at site.
- To patrol and inspect the site to ensure a safe working environment at all time and submit inspection checklist to Person In Charge (PIC).
- To conduct Safety Briefing on daily or weekly basis with subcontractor and workers.
- Assist the management in solving Safety & Health problem at site.
- Collaborate closely with client, DOSH, CIDB and relevant authorities to resolve safety issues promptly and effectively.
- Participate and conduct internal and OSHA audits.
- Support and advise Project Manager to manage and co-ordinate all safety matters for the project site.
- This position required to travel from site to site;
- To perform any other tasks as requested by the superiors and management and to generally perform all administrative work;

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
