About Us:
JPM is the biggest private car collector in Malaysia, known for our passion for extraordinary cars. We are seeking a talented freelance videographer and photographer to join our team on upcoming projects. The role involves creating high-quality automotive-focused content, including videography, photography, and editing, tailored to showcase our collection, events, and campaigns. Compensation will be provided on a per-project basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and execute creative visual ideas for various projects.

  • Capture high-quality videos and photos, ensuring they meet the project requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Edit video content, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and engaging storytelling.
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions, offering fresh ideas to elevate content.
  • Coordinate with the team to understand project timelines, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage project files, ensuring organization and easy access for future edits or references.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project materials and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in videography, video editing, and photography, ideally with an automotive focus.
  • Proactive and proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video and photography work.
  • Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, bringing ideas to life.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with a knack for storytelling, particularly in the automotive space.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in creating diverse content, including promotional videos, social media reels, and event highlights.

  • Familiarity with animation and graphic design is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt styles from cinematic to casual, based on project needs.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry, motorsports, and enthusiasm for cars and motorcycles is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is highly advantageous.

Compensation:
Payment will be based on the scope of each project. Rates to be discussed upon agreement.
