The Survey & Events Assistant is responsible for conducting on-site surveys and assessments to identify optimal locations for signage installation and roadside bunting for new outlet launches. This role includes attending store openings, supporting event coordination, liaising with management, and ensuring successful promotional efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to travel frequently.

1. Site Surveys:

  • Conduct surveys to determine the best locations for signage installations and roadside buntings.
  • Assess site visibility, traffic flow, and compliance with local regulations.

2. Signage Installation Coordination:

  • Work with vendors and contractors to oversee installation.
  • Ensure branding guidelines are followed and installations are completed on time.

3. Event Support:

  • Travel to attend store openings and assist with event setup and execution.
  • Provide on-ground support during events, ensuring smooth operations.

4. Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with the relevant team for promotional material requirements.
  • Communicate findings and provide feedback to relevant departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

5. Supplier Communication & Negotiation:

  • Effectively communicate with suppliers (signage, local authority) to manage deliverables and timelines.
  • Demonstrate basic negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

6. Travel:

  • Travel frequently to various locations as required for surveys, installations, and events.

Job Requirement: -

  • Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years in a similar role preferred.

1. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of signage and branding installations is an advantage.

2. Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic negotiation skills.

3. Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel extensively, including weekends if necessary.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable with independent travel.

4. Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor site visits for surveys and installations.
  • Office work for reporting and coordination.
  • Involvement in fast-paced, dynamic events environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
