In tandem with our digital transformation agenda, we are searching for a qualified Head of Project Management Office (PMO) to be responsible for leading a team of professionals in planning and implementing digital projects for the organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), the ideal candidate must have proven project management experience and strong skills in developing project documentation and overseeing project workplans to ensure alignment with the organisation's goals. A self-starter, the Head of PMO must be able to work independently in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities: -

1. Responsible for the planning and overseeing digital projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and project scope.

2. Develop and manage a detailed project plan which includes managing the various resources to reach objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

3. Develop or map processes with business users or business partner to determine project scope i.e. Business Requirement Document (BRD).

4. Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting performance standards and assessing risks.

5. Coordinate with cross-department team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

6. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about project progress, project risk and the mitigation plan to meet deliverables within planned timeline.

7. Establish and execute an effective project communication and change management plan.

8. Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and project handover process to the business users.

9. Facilitate and document change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

10.Obtain user acceptance of project deliverables.

11.Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and manage communication to project team of expected deliverables.

12.Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards of project management methodology throughout project execution.

13.Measure project performance and lesson learn documentation to identify areas for improvement for future projects.

Job Requirement: -

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience in managing and implementing digital projects i.e. from requirement gathering, testing until roll-out.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to the agreed project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Clear understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and resourceful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good presentation capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
