Responsibilities:
- As materials engineer, you will be responsible to drive supplier for quality issue resolution to meet Keysight quality expectation, propose initiatives for cost savings opportunities thru re-engineering effort.
- To lead and work with suppliers for technical specifications study and perform root cause analysis to meet Keysight quality expectation.
- To collaborate with and provide consultation to R&D, procurement and manufacturing engineering team in the research, specification, sourcing and qualification of materials used in the design and production of Keysight products.
- Influencing the product design to ensure materials manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain.
- Collaborating with procurement and technical services to improve/ sustain products and processes through technical understanding about material technology obsolescence and future road map.
- To work with and develop suppliers to meet the quality, cost and manufacturability goals.
- Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization and continuous improvement effort.
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Communication/Mechatronics Engineering
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in English and able to interact with all levels of employees.
- Candidate who has prior technical experience in managing components, electrical parts and cable assemblies will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of quality tools such as SPC/Process Control, FEMEA, Problem Solving/Root Cause Analysis and other Six Sigma tools.
- A great team player who is willing to work extra miles, new ideas generation to support organization growth.
