Responsibilities:
Materials Analyst
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis reports for raw materials, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
- Work collaboratively with Product Line and Program Manager as crucial stakeholders, aligning efforts to achieve AOS (Assurance of Shortage) and enhancing internal controls for inventory optimization.
- Leverage advanced data visualization and analytical tools such as Spotfire, Incorta, and Power BI to meticulously process and analyze complex material (Top Models / LLM) data.
- Provide detailed analysis, big deal simulations and comprehensive materials-related reports to key business partners, including Product Line, Program Manager and Operations Finance, ensuring transparent communication of critical insights.
- Conduct in-depth reviews and take proactive measures based on product disco/transfer criteria, ensuring the maintenance of an optimized inventory with minimized risk.
- Conduct a meticulous review and optimization of safety stock settings for raw materials, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining an effective balance between inventory levels and supply risk mitigation strategies.
- Effectively manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and Contract Material (CM) excess claims on a quarterly basis, implementing strategic disposition methods to minimize losses and maximize recovery.
- Supporting Manual IR / PR submission
- Supporting others ad hoc requests within Global Procurement & Materials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Typically 4-7 years of experience in strategic procurement/inventory/supply chain management.
- Experience and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools such as Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong business sense with a clear understanding of supply chain and planning fundamentals.
- Excellent analytic skills and strong ability to retain and relay large amounts of information.
- Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams and deliver results.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership ability and positive, proactive approach to working in a dynamic, progressive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented and excellent problem-solving methods.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
