Responsibilities:
NPI Materials Engineer, focusing on PCBA and electronics component: Provide technical consulting to R&D and manufacturing engineering teams in the Design-for-manufacturability/reliability/test/supply chain (DFx) research and simulation, to improve new PCBA materials’ quality/reliability, manufacturability and assurance of supply for Keysight NPI (new product introduction) products development.

Strong abilities to perform PCBA designs simulation and evaluation using DFx/Design software (e.g. LT SPICE, Advanced Design System (ADS), Valor NPI, Testway, Mentor Graphic, Cadence and etc) and recommend technical specifications, DFM and quality/reliability improvement of PCBA to meet Keysight NPI products design, business growth and supply chain optimization objectives. Identifies and qualifies alternative materials when needed.
Participate actively in new NPI product development, including influencing the design of the product to ensure reliability, manufacturability and conformance with Keysight Design-for-Reliability Handbook, Design Standard User Guideline, and Component Selection Guideline. This enables product prototyping while in the R&D lab, testing the reliability of prototypes and managing the transition into production.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent in Electronics & Electrical Engineering background.
  • Experience in using Design/simulation software e.g. LTSpice, ADS, Mentor Graphic, Cadence for PCBA design/simulation.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
