ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Defines and executes Project/CAPEX procurement strategies for project/operation
- Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiency and effectively
- Develop strong relationship with other functional departments
- Support organizational goals and objectives
- Accountable for the procurement KPIs
MAIN TASK
- Follow all plant safety and environment regulations and requirements. participate in activities to continuously improve quality performance. participate in department and site safety & environment initiatives
- To be aware and adhere site SHE & quality policy and procedure. work towards the overall objective of the company including report an incident to superior
- Ensure compliance of purchasing processes and ensure all purchasing activities carried out are in line with approved procurement procedures
- Continuously improve the internal procurement process where possible and highlight potential risk and exposure to company
- Educate other departments of the company with regards to best practices and achieving full cost recovery
- Ensure sufficient raw materials/additives for inbound
- Monitor market trend and negotiate best price/terms
- Continue sourcing for new supplier to widen the source of supply to have bigger range of prices and quality
- Administration work to ensure all the purchasing transactions and record keeping is done according to procedures and report is up to date
- Carry out other responsibilities as directed by company management
REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred.
- 7+ years of experiences as a procurement executive or in a similar position
- Have a basic knowledge for procurement process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Power Point and etc.)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
