ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Defines and executes Project/CAPEX procurement strategies for project/operation
  • Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiency and effectively
  • Develop strong relationship with other functional departments
  • Support organizational goals and objectives
  • Accountable for the procurement KPIs

MAIN TASK

  • Follow all plant safety and environment regulations and requirements. participate in activities to continuously improve quality performance. participate in department and site safety & environment initiatives
  • To be aware and adhere site SHE & quality policy and procedure. work towards the overall objective of the company including report an incident to superior
  • Ensure compliance of purchasing processes and ensure all purchasing activities carried out are in line with approved procurement procedures
  • Continuously improve the internal procurement process where possible and highlight potential risk and exposure to company
  • Educate other departments of the company with regards to best practices and achieving full cost recovery
  • Ensure sufficient raw materials/additives for inbound
  • Monitor market trend and negotiate best price/terms
  • Continue sourcing for new supplier to widen the source of supply to have bigger range of prices and quality
  • Administration work to ensure all the purchasing transactions and record keeping is done according to procedures and report is up to date
  • Carry out other responsibilities as directed by company management

REQUIREMENT

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experiences as a procurement executive or in a similar position
  • Have a basic knowledge for procurement process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Power Point and etc.)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
