  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the performance of WWTP to ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
  • To monitor WWTP final discharge water meet DOE standard requirement.
  • Operate mechanical equipment including pumps and motors, chemical feed pumps and systems, air compressors, and manual, electrical, and pneumatically operated valves.
  • Perform maintenance on chemical systems including chemical piping systems.
  • Maintain proper chemical dosages and feed equipment settings for influent and effluent plant flows.
  • Investigate any upset conditions in WWTP & come up with corrective action & preventive action.
  • To update the conditions of WWTP equipment, facilities, chemical, stock inventory and record keeping.
  • To follow up closely on the work progress of the maintenance/service job by consultant/ contractor.
  • To support and setting dewatering system and sludge management.
  • Prepare maintenance report and ensure that all the equipment is maintained in good order.
  • Primary DAF settling & chemical reaction tank.
  • Daily perform COD test for water sample
  • Daily perform PM (performance monitoring) report
  • Others: Any other duties which may be assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a certificate, diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum 1.5 year of working experience in WWTP/IETS.
  • Knowledge on WWTP or IETS (Industrial Effleunt Treatment system) for physical chemical treatment process and biological treatment process.
  • Understanding local legislative requirements.
  • Skills in basic repair and maintenance on mechanical & electrical.
  • Familiar with waste water analysis on certain parameters like COD,pH, DO, MLSS and chemical dosing.
  • Equipped with either CePIETSO PCP or CePIETSO BP will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work in a team, initiative and independently with a high degree of commitment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
