Job Duties:

1.Monitor ultrasound examinations by reviewing images on the video screen, ensuring diagnostic quality and consistency,

and making necessary adjustments to the equipment.

2.Observe and provide care for patients during examinations, prioritizing their safety and comfort.

3.Prepare detailed examination reports to assist the doctor in monitoring pregnancies and diagnosing conditions such as

cardiac, abdominal, ophthalmic, vascular, and other disorders.

4.Perform routine quality control checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly, making minor repairs

and adjustments as needed.

5.Assist with patient registration, updating waiting times, and directing patients to the appropriate consultation rooms.

6.Support doctors during patient examinations and routine medical procedures.

7.Help prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by the doctor.

8.Assist with clinical procedures and operate medical equipment with care and professionalism.

9.Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and accurately.

10.Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and medications.

11.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment.

12.Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Graduate from an accredited Sonography program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography).

2. Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (e.g., ARDMS certification, or equivalent) or eligibility to sit for certification exams.

3. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

4.Additional certifications in specialized sonography areas such as obstetrics, gynecology, or musculoskeletal imaging.

5. Medical Assistant certification or experience is a plus.
6. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical or healthcare setting.

7.Previous experience working in a medical clinic or assisting with administrative tasks is a plus.

8. Knowledgeable about emerging trends and developments in the healthcare field.

9. Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

10. Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional and ethical approach to practice, and a wellgroomed, approachable demeanor.

11. Own reliable transportation and availability for shift work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
