The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality and safety of our natural health products, ensuring they meet all regulatory and company standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting regular inspections, and leading a team of quality assurance professionals. This person will work closely with production, procurement, supply chain and R&D teams to ensure that our products are safe, consistent, and of the highest quality. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, quality control, and Malaysia and international regulatory compliance, with excellent leadership and communication skills. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Manage regular inspections and audits of production and warehouse facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all related safety regulations and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, supply chain and R&D teams.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation and labeling of products.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD in Chemistry or Biotechnology or Food Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the quality assurance in natural health products or food product or similar industry.
  • knowledge of quality-related regulations and standards.
  • Experience with HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Experience with auditing and inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
