VOCATIONAL TRAINER (DIGITAL BRODCASTING & MEDIA)

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You will be based in Pusat Rehabilitasi PERKESO, Melaka working closely with Vocational Team WHAT YOU’LL DO 1. Training Program Development & Delivery: Develop a structured training module on podcasting tailored for vocational training and rehabilitation purposes. Create lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on activities to facilitate learning. Customize training programs to accommodate different learning abilities and backgrounds. Conduct engaging theoretical and practical sessions on digital broadcasting, podcasting, and media production. 2. Technical Training & Equipment Management: Teach trainees how to use recording equipment, including microphones, mixers, and headphones. Demonstrate the use of audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or other relevant tools. Guide trainees in scripting, voice modulation, sound design, and storytelling techniques. Conduct practical sessions on interview techniques and content structuring. Assist trainees in producing their own podcasts and digital media projects as part of the training module. Maintain and manage podcast recording equipment, ensuring proper usage and safety. Ensure a conducive and safe environment for recording sessions. Keep track of equipment usage and troubleshoot basic technical issues. 3. Student Development & Support: Adapt teaching methods to support individuals with different learning paces and abilities. Encourage creativity, confidence, and public speaking skills in trainees. Provide one-on-one coaching when needed, ensuring trainees grasp key concepts at their own pace. Work closely with therapists, job coaches, and support staff to enhance trainees’ learning experiences. 4. Industry Insights & Career Development: Educate trainees on monetization strategies, sponsorship opportunities, and branding in the podcasting industry. Introduce job opportunities in digital broadcasting, podcasting, and media production. Provide guidance on freelancing and starting a podcasting business. Offer insights into digital marketing and podcast promotion strategies. 5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies in digital broadcasting and media. Integrate relevant media production techniques into the training curriculum. Participate in professional development activities to enhance training quality. Collaborate with external industry professionals and organizations to provide trainees with exposure to real-world practices. 6. Administrative & Logistical Responsibilities: Maintain training equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition. Prepare training reports, attendance records, and assessment documentation. Ensure all training activities comply with the center's policies and guidelines. 7. Other Duties as Assigned Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the employer. REQUIRED QUALITIES: Diploma or Certification in Digital Media, Broadcasting, Journalism, or a related field. Previous experience as a trainer, educator, or instructor in media-related vocational training is an added advantage. Proficiency in using audio recording and editing software. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Ability to design and implement training programs suited to various learning abilities. Familiarity with digital marketing and podcast promotion is a plus. Passion for training and working with diverse groups, including individuals undergoing rehabilitation. Ability to work collaboratively with rehabilitation teams to support trainee development. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. MINIMUM BASIC SALARY RM2200
