The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives, managing the Trade Marketing budget, and improving brand presence across trade.
What you'll do:
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the Trade Marketing Plan that aligns with our sales and marketing objectives. You will lead the charge in improving our brand's presence across various trade channels through meticulous in-store planning and campaign execution. Your expertise will also be crucial in leading activation programs with partners to enhance our brand visibility. Regular visits to points of sale will be part of your routine to ensure our brand is well-represented, and guidelines are respected. Your collaborative spirit will shine as you work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Develop and execute the Trade Marketing Plan in alignment with sales and marketing objectives.
• Improve brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning.
• Lead and implement channel-specific marketing strategies for assigned retailers.
• Conceptualise and execute trade promotions in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
• Lead activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility.
• Visit points of sale regularly to ensure brand visibility and adherence to guidelines.
• Plan Exclusive SKUs Marketing Plan, Joint Quarterly Marketing Plan, Joint Business Plan, TTL, ATL, BTL Plan.
• Execute joint event planning: in-store, roadshows.
• Ensure client interaction is conducted in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Trade Marketing Manager role brings a wealth of experience from previous roles. With at least 2 years' experience as a trade marketing manager under your belt, you have honed your skills in developing effective marketing plans that align with sales objectives. Your excellent Mandarin fluency, both written and spoken, coupled with good communication skills in English & Malay, will be crucial in this role. Your strong analytical skills, organisational abilities, and creative thinking will be key to your success. A proven track record in a similar position is essential, as is the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a trade marketing manager role.
• Minimum 1 year experience managing Watsons/ Guardian Trade Marketing Plan.
• Diploma in Business Studies/ Marketing or any related discipline.
• Excellent Mandarin fluency both written and spoken.
• Good communication skills in English & Malay.
• Proven track record in similar position.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to handle multitasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork spirit and time management skills.
• Creative thinking abilities.
