Receptionist cum Admin (Hair Salon)
1. Customer Appointment Management:
· Organize and schedule customer appointments.
· Maintain an updated appointment calendar to optimize staff scheduling and customer flow.
· Maintain client records, including contact details and service history, in the salon’s management system.
· Track appointment bookings, send personalised reminder prior to the appointment and cancellations to ensure smooth scheduling.
2. Customer Service:
· Greet clients with a warm and welcoming attitude.
· Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries about services, prices, and availability.
· Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to the Salon Manager when needed.
· Inform customers about the festival closure.
3. Cleaning and Tidying:
· Ensure the reception area, waiting area, and salon entrance are clean, organized, and welcoming.
· Assist in general salon cleanliness and hygiene standards.
4. Receive and Distribute Letters/Packages:
· Handle incoming mail, deliveries, and packages.
· Receive and check in products, packages, and salon supplies, ensuring accuracy.
· Distribute received items to the appropriate team members or store them in designated areas.
· Ensure inventory is organized and assist in tracking stock levels, perform weekly stock take.
5. Ad-Hoc Duties:
· Assist with inventory management, such as restocking retail products.
· Help with the preparation of customer invoices and billing.
· Assist salon staff with administrative tasks when necessary.
· Update monthly Duty Roster.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Salon Manager
Job Requirements
1) Candidate must possess at least SPM Holder.
2) Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
3) Good literacy in using Microsoft word, Excel application
4) Good communication & interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
