Position: Statutory Reporting SME Industry: Oil & Gas (Shared Service) Location: The Horizon, Bangsar South City, No. 8, Jalan Kerinchi, Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH) Contract Duration: Until 30th September 2025 Salary Range: RM8,000 – RM13,500 Your Role: As a Statutory Reporting SME, you'll be at the forefront of preparing statutory accounts, audit files, and tax documentation for a diverse portfolio of entities. You'll ensure compliance with relevant policies while driving continuous improvements in statutory reporting and tax processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare statutory accounts, director’s briefs, audit files, and tax packs in line with policies and procedures Ensure accurate and timely delivery of statutory accounts and tax analysis Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet reporting and compliance obligations Monitor reconciliations, manage open/overdue items, and resolve discrepancies Propose and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives Support transformation activities for financial reporting and tax compliance What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field Recognized professional qualifications like ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CIMA, or MIA 5-6 years of general accounting experience with strong external reporting & tax compliance knowledge Big 4 audit experience is a plus!
