Senior Compliance Officer

Job Description.

• Create and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and industry standards.
• Continuously review and update SOPs in line with regulatory changes, standards, best practices, and business needs.
• Plan and conduct periodical audits to assess compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and standards.
• Develop audit programs to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective actions for any identified non-compliance.
• Conduct audits of IT systems and controls to ensure compliance with IT and operational procedures and standards.
• Perform on-site compliance inspections across various locations, requiring extensive travel to conduct audits and provide hands-on support.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and industry standards, while resolving compliance-related issues at the operational level.
• Collaborate with business units, including IT business departments, to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies to address key compliance risks.
• Work closely with various departments, including IT and operation teams, to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and help resolve operational issues that may affect compliance.
• Offer practical solutions to ensure that business operations remain within established policies and standards.
• Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes, latest standards and ensure that the organization remains compliant with new or revised requirements.
• Provide training to employees on compliance policies and procedures, ensuring understanding and adherence across the organization.

Preferably experience in compliance role within IT or software development industry.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM6,100.00 per month
