About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our talented team at Bakers Maison (M) Sdn Bhd. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the strategic decision-making process. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial statements
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to the management team to drive informed business decisions
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • ACCA certification is a must
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Proficient in using financial management software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a finance team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Forecasting: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • ACCA (Required)
