Are you a skilled professional with expertise in lifeboat operations or firefighting and rescue training? If you’re passionate about delivering world-class safety training and possess the required qualifications, we want you to join our team as a Freelance Instructor in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

ABOUT RELYON
RelyOn Johor Center, a member of RelyOn Nutec, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, is part of the world's largest provider of specialist safety training for the offshore, maritime, and renewable industries. We deliver top-notch, realistic training programs designed to ensure safety and compliance across sectors.

To meet growing demand, we are looking for qualified Freelance Instructors to support our training programs in lifeboat operations and firefighting/rescue training at our Pasir Gudang Training Center and client locations (onshore and offshore).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Freelance Instructor, your duties will include:

  • Delivering practical and theoretical safety training courses to meet industry standards.
  • Facilitating specialized training modules in one or more of the following areas:
  • Preparing and maintaining training equipment and facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Ensuring participants have a safe, engaging, and enriching training experience.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices through continuous learning.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

1. Lifeboat Instructor

  • Certification in Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain (Twin Fall & Freefall).
  • Certification in Fast Rescue Boat Operations.

2. Firefighting Instructor

  • Advanced Firefighting certification.
  • Certifications in HAZMAT Response and Confined Space Entry & Rescue.
  • Offshore Emergency Team Member/Team Leader training certification.

Other Requirements

  • Previous training experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude.
  • A commitment to safety and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
  • Candidates with no prior training experience but with a strong interest in the field are welcome to apply.
