  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Innovation

  • Support applied micro electronics and industrialization scope area with IT product launch activities, equipment design validation and commissioning, and timing and resource
  • Responsible for coordinating and assisting managers in managing new product introduction for notebook, desktops, monitors, thin clients & workstation models
  • Working with management and stakeholders to handle schedule activities, coordinate between teams, follow standards for quality control, and ensure the success of the new product via roadmap trends and analyze it to determine timeliness of new technology adoption.
  • Identify from Procurement and suppliers what are the incoming models and study if it’s feasible for new technologies to be paired with our product line up.
  • Assist in roadmap generation for product and technology based on info above.
  • Research new methods/technologies; could it be applied to new and current products.
  • Create awareness to sales, management, production of these new products and technologies through knowledge & material trainings

Validation and Customer Usage Models

  • Evaluate customer’s usage models and software/hardware profiles.
  • Perform validation for parts such as memory, SSD, graphics cards, CPU, LCD etc.
  • Document these at regular cadence.

Post Implementation Audit

  • Work with focus group to ascertain the quality e.g. life span, robustness, wear and tear factors and other vectors for sampling or survey feedback for improvements or implementation related to the above.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science / IT / Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Technology Management, Technopreneurship etc) from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus

Job Type: Internship

Pay: Up to RM1,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
