The purpose of this role is to conduct thorough analysis and monitoring to ensure compliance with corporate governance practices and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Corporate Finance Analyst will evaluate company performance and deliver strategic insights that inform decision-making. By integrating compliance oversight with performance evaluation, this position aims to enhance operational effectiveness and support informed, strategic decisions that drive the company’s growth and sustainability.

BUDGET & FORECAST FUNCTION

Reviewing and updating the Business plan and forecast model regularly with the latest market/financial information for the Company to have confidence in decision-making.

FINANCIAL MODELLING AND SCENARIO ANALYSIS

Reviewing, developing and analysing financial models for current operations and potential projects in order to prepare presentations and recommendation to Senior management

CAPITAL/ASSETS CONTROL: -

Monitor regularly on the fixed asset register. Ensure the register is kept updated from time to time.


FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING:
-

Cross checking the monthly report with basic standard of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard (MFRS), to ensure the full compliance.


PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Analysis of current processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and shortcomings and to ensure they are optimized
  • Liaising with External auditor on updating the latest financial reporting standard to ensure all the reporting are under compliance.
  • Ad-hoc requests from Finance Manager

  • REQUIREMENT:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of working experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in manganese smelting industry or similar industry
    • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
