Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, contract administration, and financial management for construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage accurate project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Administer and negotiate contracts, including preparation of tender documentation.
  • Manage procurement processes for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Perform valuation of works and prepare progress payment claims and final accounts.
  • Analyze and assess project risks, providing solutions to mitigate financial impacts.
  • Prepare detailed project reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors to enhance team performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, or equivalent).
  • Proficient in cost management tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects independently and mentor junior team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
