- Respond to internal Sales Team and customer inquiries on product availability, prices, and lead time promptly and accurately via telephone, facsimile, or email.
- Generate Sales Quotations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with Sales & Engineering Team on material planning details.
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for the best deal in quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services.
- Enhance product knowledge using all available sources.
- Raise and monitor Sales Orders, Approval Notes (Loan, WIP, Consignment), invoices, and goods returns.
- Assist Sales Team in issuing and following up on temporary “Approval for Delivery” and “Credit Limit Appeal Form” for credit terms and limit upgrades in exceptional cases.
- Build rapport with customers, Sales Teams, and Marketing Teams.
- Understand customers' buying behavior and delivery mode (e.g., preparing shipping documents).
- Work closely with the Section Head to resolve daily operational issues.
- Lead or supervise junior team members to maintain high service quality.
- Recommend best practices to meet service level agreements and improve customer satisfaction.
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 3 to 4 years working experience in relevant field
- Ability to prioritize tasks with effective time management
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and familiar with ERP System, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong command of English both verbal & written and Bahasa Malaysia
- Preferably with knowledge of product
- Able to multi-task
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
