The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of serving internal stakeholders with big data solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring the efficient use of data across the business. This role is pivotal in re-establishing the foundation of our data department, ensuring the department can deliver actionable insights, solutions, and tools that align with business objectives.

1. Lead & Strategize: Develop and implement a vision and strategy for the data department, aligning with business goals.

2. Serve Internal Stakeholders: Understand and prioritize internal customer data needs, delivering actionable solutions.

3. Data Governance & Quality: Oversee data integrity, security, and compliance across all systems.

4. Build Data Infrastructure: Set up foundational data systems, including a basic data warehouse, and design efficient data pipelines.

5. Collaborate: Work cross-functionally to implement data-driven solutions that optimize processes and outcomes.

6. Track Performance: Measure and report on data solutions’ impact on business objectives.

Requirements
1. Proven Leadership: Experience in leading data teams and serving internal stakeholders.

2. Hands-on Data Skills: Expertise in setting up data warehouses, ETL processes, and data models.

3. Strategic Mindset: Ability to align data initiatives with business goals and improve internal data capabilities.
