Production Clerk

Job Purpose:

Supports the manufacturing process by maintaining accurate records, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role involves administrative tasks, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Job Description:

• Data Management:
• Record and maintain production data, including daily production reports, scrap, defects, and performance metrics.
• Update production reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain and control all departmental documentation, including daily performance information.
• Complete and update production and KPI charts daily.

• Production Scheduling:
• Issue production schedules and work orders to relevant departments.
• Track raw material consumption and manage inventory levels.
• Requisition and maintain production supply inventory, including consumable items.

• Worker Attendance & Overtime Management:
• Monitor worker attendance and manage overtime records.
• Organize and track training sessions for all production workers.

• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and implement approved changes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or administrative training is a plus.
• Have basic Knowledge in production.
• Person that punctual when coming to work.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Good attitude and willing to work in a team.
• Willing to work at Saint-Gobain Weber at Taman Industry Alam Jaya Bandar Puncak Alam Selangor.
• Must have own transportation.
• Prefer candidate that can join in immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
