Job responsibilities
- To provide administrative and operational support to the Merchandising Department.
- To analyse sales data to identify best-selling items, slow-moving products, and potential promotional opportunities.
- To gather information on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to inform buying decisions.
- To support Category Managers, coordinating with Marketing Department on promotional activities.
- To co-ordinate with vendor on business meetings and reports preparation.
- To perform other job related responsibilities as and when required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM/Diploma/Degree with 1-2 years similar experience in merchandising sourcing/planning field.
- Former retail assistants, sales assistants, promoters, retail associate from supermarket, departmental store, mini-market, convenience shops & wet-markets are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Passionate in retail supermarket/hypermarket operations.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
- Proficient in Mandarin is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
