Job Description:

  • Identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Draft and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, outlining specifications, and requirements.
  • Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure purchased materials meet all necessary quality metrics.
  • Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers for long-term partnerships and potential cost savings.
  • Serve as the point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers to clarify technical specifications or resolve issues.
  • Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.

Skills & Experiences Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering course, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or a related area such as supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing materials and components, and knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Advanced technical understanding specific to the company's field.
  • Ability to perform detailed cost analyses and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
