- Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety requirements at the site.
- To coordinate, supervise, and schedule the activities of workers engaged in all project and site operations.
- Comply with the necessary statutory requirements at the project site.
- Responsible and ensure all safety documentations, checklist and requirements to be legal is maintained at site.
- Perform periodical inspection at the site to identify potential hazards to the health and safety of staff.
- Assist in evacuation and emergency drills and conduct investigations of accidents at the site.
- Raise health and safety issues to Supervisors and Project Manager where appropriate.
- To conduct Tool Box Meeting.
- Conduct safety induction and safety briefing to site personnel / staff.
- Liaise with clients, consultant, subcontractors and relevant government officials (e.g.: DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, KEMEMTRIAN KESIHATION & CIDB) to identify and resolve health, safety and environment issues.
- Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by Superior / the Management from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification.
- Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Valid Yellow Book).
- At least 2 years of working experience in safety related activities in construction industry.
- Having experience dealing with relevant authorities.
- Possesses own transportation and is willing to travel within a short period and can outstation.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
- Working hours: Monday - Saturday; 8am - 5pm
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
