Mission:
Defining and designing Datacenter (On premises and Cloud) technologies supporting Infrastructure and Operations. Permanent member of Global Architecture Board representing Production.
What you’ll be doing- Ensure performance, reliability and cost effectiveness of Datacenter infrastructure and tools
- Organize close relationship with external partners and solution vendors to define Datacenter infrastructure maintenance and improvements
- Review projects as part of Architecture Board and provide recommendations about NFRs, solution and service design and production deliverables.
- Review Problems and major P1s to identify improvements needed on infrastructure design and tools
- Responsible of designing DR solutions at Datacenter level and supporting projects in their DR implementation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Datacenter and Cloud technologies and solutions
- Provide internal design and build consulting services to service owners and engineers / specialists across Engineering & Automation, including support for service owners to review low level designs created by vendors to ensure they meet Adecco’s requirements
- Support service owners, software asset managers and other stakeholders to identify cost saving opportunities e.g., by changing solution architectures to optimize license positioning
- Conduct capacity and demand planning of systems to ensure the future capabilities of the system are well understood and plans to scale, and quality are defined and delivered and drive down services unit cost to agreed targets
- More than 5+ years designing and operating high-performance, reliable & secure datacenter services
- Cross technology expertise with datacenter operations and tools
- Experience in conducting Datacenter cost optimization programs
- Strong communication capabilities and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills – can represent the unit within the leadership group as well to other internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical, assessment and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with an external company for IT operations (outsourced environment)
- English level: expert
Education
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Science, Technology or Math from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- Strong ITIL knowledge and experience working within an ITIL environment is a plus.
