Job Tittle: Optometrist / Ophthalmic Specialist Location: Bangi, Malaysia Industry: Optical (Healthcare & Medical) Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,500 Work Hours: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM (with a 2-hour break), 6 days a week Monthly commission : 10% for individual sales, 3% for group sales Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction, retinoscopy, fundus photography, topography, slit lamp, and axial length measurement. - Recommend appropriate lenses and frames based on individual customer needs and preferences. - Assist in the daily operations of the optometry shop, ensuring a smooth customer experience. - Fit and manage specialty contact lenses such as Ortho-K, RGP, and Scleral lenses. - Liaise with customers, addressing and resolving any concerns or issues they may face with their eye care or products. - Assist in managing myopia progression in children through appropriate interventions. - Prescribe and manage vision therapy for children with conditions such as amblyopia or strabismus. - Provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans to enhance patients' vision and eye health. - Educate patients on eye care and maintain clear communication about their eye health. - Ensure high patient satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, contributing to patient retention and loyalty. Requirement: - At least 2 years of experience as a certified Optometrist - Ability to work in Seremban - Certified Optometrist under KKM
