Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities :
1. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinating warehousing, inventory, and logistics activities to optimize storage management and the timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
2. Cost Monitoring: Track and manage direct and indirect costs, including packing materials, contractor expenses, and staff overtime, to ensure efficient operations.
3. Asset Protection: Safeguard customer goods, ensuring proper handling and accountability of inventory.
4. Audit Compliance: Conduct scheduled audits in compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements to maintain adherence to regulatory guidelines.
5. Discrepancy Investigation & Process Improvement: Investigate and report discrepancies in products or processes, implementing necessary improvements and solutions.
6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, ensure accurate record-keeping, and optimize storage practices.
7. Manpower Planning & Training: Plan staffing needs, provide training, and ensure high accuracy and cost-effectiveness in warehouse operations.
8. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage direct reports, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
9. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the warehouse and distribution areas maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and security standards at all times.
10. Compliance & Technology Integration: Ensure compliance with customs regulations, manage related data, and identify and implement technologies or process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, 5S) a plus.
- 5 years in warehouse management, logistics, with experience in SAP, WMS, and inventory tracking.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes (inventory, receiving, order fulfillment) and process improvement.
- Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in analyzing data to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
