Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Coordinator

1.Safety Program Management: • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. • Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards in the workplace to recommend corrective actions. • Regularly update the company’s safety program, ensuring all procedures meet the latest safety standards. 2. Incident Reporting and Investigation: • Investigate workplace accidents and injuries to determine their causes and propose preventive measures. • Maintain accurate records of incidents and safety violations, preparing reports for management. • Ensure that corrective actions are taken to mitigate future incidents. 3.Training and Development: • Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks to educate employees on safety protocols, equipment use, and emergency procedures. • Ensure all employees are aware of health and safety regulations and are trained to use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly. • Develop and update training materials to reflect any changes in procedures or regulations. 4.Workplace Inspections: • Perform regular inspections of the workplace to identify any unsafe conditions or practices. • Ensure that all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits, are properly maintained. • Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions where necessary. 5.Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure the company’s safety policies and procedures comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other applicable laws. • Stay informed about new regulations and safety best practices and incorporate them into the company’s safety program. 6.Emergency Preparedness: • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans. • Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services in the event of an emergency. 7.Safety Committee Participation: • Lead or participate in safety committee meetings to address safety issues, share updates, and foster communication among employees on safety matters. 8.Continuous Improvement: • Analyze safety data, trends, and statistics to recommend improvements in the company’s safety performance. • Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement and employee engagement in safety programs. 9.Daily Safety & Security Inspection • Conduct routine safety and security inspections across the workplace. • Monitor CCTV systems to ensure security compliance and report any suspicious activity. • Perform checks on access control and security measures to prevent unauthorized entry. 10. Theft Incident Investigation & Security Management • Assist in investigating theft incidents and report findings to management. • Work closely with security personnel to ensure proper reporting and documentation of incidents. • Implement preventive measures to reduce theft risks. 4. General Housekeeping & Workplace Safety • Conduct daily housekeeping checks to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. • Ensure compliance with OSH regulations to minimize workplace hazards. • Assist in training employees on basic safety procedures
