AIM OF THE JOB: Plan, manage, execute, and monitor estate operations efficiently and responsible for the estate profitability as per company goals and strategies. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Direct the estate planning activities and provide leadership abilities and overall guidance to the estate concerned. To plan and monitor the existing and future development of the estate production, manpower planning, and quality control. Responsible for the development and implementation of all the estate activities including replanting, production, administration, and personnel. Ensure that policies and procedures approved by the management are being adhered in all operations. Establish individual estate goals, objectives, and procedure in the unit. Determine staff requirements with the Regional Human Resources Team and interview, hire, and train new employees or supervise personal processes. To carry out other tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the management. Plan and review activities, costs, and operations and take ownership of the property assigned. Set specific targets, execute decisions, and provide effective support to estate operations. Accountable for task delegation and close monitoring of overall estate performance. Plan Budgeting and manage budgetary control administration. Manage and implement the day-to-day estate operation which includes operating budget, plan, logistic, manpower, productivity, work programmed to plan, and guidance to subordinates. Daily inspections of each estate operation on a priority basis, examining achieved work standards and correcting any shortcomings. To ensure all environmental and statutory requirements are complied with to safeguard the Company’s interests and treat the Company’s secrets with utmost confidence. To ensure estate facilities and equipment are efficiently managed. Set a good example to the subordinates and other employees in terms of communication, discipline, work, culture, and all aspects. To ensure timely completion of the upkeep work program of immature/replanting according to set standards. REQUIREMENTS: Basic education and training: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent. At least 10 years of managerial working practice in estate fieldwork and administration. Possess excellent communication expertise and demonstrate proficiency in personnel administration and financial management. Possess leadership abilities, strong analytical expertise, troubleshooting expertise, and effective problem-solving capability. Knowledge, and skills: Land matters MSPO & RSPO Foreign workers’ labour law Competency in agriculture activities such as OP nursery, planting, maintenance, harvesting operation, and mechanization. Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task estate and palm oil mill operations. Good organizational and labour management. Proficient in the use of computers, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent time management meeting deadlines and punctuality. Personal qualities required, abilities: Situational Leadership and advocate team player.
