Senior Executive, Account (E-commerce)
Position Overview:
The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Finance and Accounts Department, working diligently with auditors and consultants to ensure that all accounting records are updated and accurate according to industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You are required to perform these job functions:
1. Bookkeeping and Transactions:
- Review daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely vendor payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
3. General Ledger Management:
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
4. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Consolidate financial statements for group reporting, if applicable.
5. Audit Support:
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors during the audit process.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance.
6. Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance.
- Identify trends, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Systems and Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and recommend improvements.
- Implement software upgrades and provide training to staff.
8. Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations within the group.
9. Perform any additional duties or tasks assigned by the company as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Proficiency in full-cycle accounting and accounting software (e.g., Autocount).
- Familiarity with e-invoicing systems and compliance with local electronic invoicing regulations will be an added advantage.
