Position Overview:
The Tax Executive will be responsible for providing support to the tax department in preparing tax returns, conducting research, communicating with clients to gather necessary information, and keeping up-to-date with tax regulations and laws. The Tax Executive will also assist in opportunities to identify areas of potential tax savings and create efficiencies in the tax preparation process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare income tax computations for companies, businesses, and individuals, complete the relevant tax return forms, and submit them to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) as required.
- Coordinate the collection of tax installment payments from clients and ensure timely payment to the IRB.
- Assist Tax Manager on e-invoice implement project.
- Perform any additional duties or tasks assigned by the company as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and laws.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Knowledge in using accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Ability to maintain excellent client relationships through clear and timely communication.
