PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To oversee and ensure smooth warehouse operations;

2. To oversee/assist in daily system information activities if required;

3. To ensure storage and office areas are well maintained with good housekeeping;

4. To review periodically on warehouse layout and to ensure effectiveness of storage space utilization;

5. To drive the team to adhere to any related policy and ISO Standard imposed by the management;

6. To lead, manage and review all operations staff performance through yearly appraisal;

7. To motivate team work spirit towards achieving department objectives;

8. To conduct staff briefing/meeting (weekly/monthly) on operations update or any news release from Management for awareness;

9. Responsible for generating specific reports for customer on weekly, monthly timely without fail;

10. To train and assess the new hired staff through On Job Training using performance rating to ensure the related staff is conformed/satisfied to the job requirements

11. To ensure stock inventory accuracy and records are well maintained;

12. To justify and verify any Purchase Request for the department;

13. To minimize risk exposure on Damage & Loss claim by customer due to induce by YCH;

14. To ensure effectiveness of operating cost incurred and verify vendor’s billing accuracy;

15. To submit Department KPI compilation to HOD and ensure performance is met;

16. To attend/involve in any audits conducted internally by the Management or externally by the customer;

17. To perform any other job related functions as and when required or assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education Level: Diploma / Degree
  • Related Working Experience:

Executive: 1-2 years of experience (preferably related experience) with Degree/Diploma preferably in related field or 3 years of experience (preferably related experience) lower than Diploma Level (preferably in related field)

Senior Executive: 2-3 years of experience (preferably related experience) with Degree/Diploma preferably in related field or 4 years of experience (preferably related experience) lower than Diploma Level (preferably in related field)

  • Skill:

Able to speak, read, write and understand Bahasa Malaysia and English

Computer literate

  • To attend all trainings and presentations on health and safety matters as well as accident

preventions.

  • To comply strictly with EHS related policies and procedures as well as all safety

rules that are rolled out from time to time.
