  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Senior Software Tester is responsible for creating and executing tests to uncover any bugs or other issues with a software’s design or functionality. Ultimately, you need to ensure that the software is the highest quality possible while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, as well as in aligned with departmental goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with developers and users to analyse user stories/requirements for validity and feasibility.
  • Understand project factors that drive the test priorities and test approaches.
  • Apply established techniques for designing tests at all levels (system, integration and regression).
  • Interpret and execute tests from given test specifications, before presenting the test results.
  • Identify test conditions and features to be tested, developing test scenarios and documentation.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Prepare clear and concise defect reports.
  • Assist with the selection and implementation process of testing tools.
  • Provide support in multiple projects with different deadlines.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on your competencies and seniority as assigned by your immediate superior/ management

To be successful for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of quality assurance (QA) work experience in IT industry.
  • Experience in defining test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts for business specifications.
  • Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) .
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts of software testing and testing practices.
  • Software proficiency in C# .NET framework, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, or Web APIs.
