Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead system and process change/integration within current YGT systems to ensure that current processes are streamlined and efficient. Experience in change management, system implementation and process flow changes would be an advantage.
  • Provide advisory in Accounting and Tax functions within GreenTech division
  • Responsible for the YGT Accounting corporate and Marin reporting functionality.
  • Establish process for financial planning and reporting and act as a bridge between the Corporate Finance and Planning Team (“CF”) and the Accounting Team
  • Support the transition of financial planning and analysis to the CF team where necessary including annual budgeting and business plan process
  • When necessary, review the financial statements and accounts of the Business Units.
  • Lead the of budget/business planning and consolidation of results across the various business segments within GreenTech. This includes monthly forecasting of the P&L and cashflows, highlighting issues and concerns identified and propose options to business leaders for resolutions
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, in presenting a dashboard on performance of each business segments within YGT against the targeted KPIs and budgets.
  • Head the Accounts Payable improvement plan
  • Corporate finance/FP&A person in charge for DigitalEV
  • To execute any other duties as and when required by immediate superior or management.

Skills & Experiences:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Accountancy, or any related discipline with strong IFRS knowledge. A recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred.
  • 15 years’ experience in finance reporting/ operations including at least 3 years of audit experience in Big 4.
  • Previous experience as Financial Controller is preferred
  • Previous experience with system integration and change is highly desirable
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work laterally across different business units and vertically across all staff levels
  • Keen interest in innovating and seeking new ways of doing things
  • Able to work in a fast-driven and dynamic work environment
