  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

1. Hazard Identification & Risk Analysis

  • Conduct risk assessments using methods like HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment).
  • Identify potential hazards and evaluate their impact on people, assets, and the environment.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

2. Compliance & Safety Regulations

  • Ensure adherence to industry safety standards (e.g., ISO 31000, OSHA, IEC 61508, API standards).
  • Prepare risk assessment reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to ensure safety and risk management standards are met.

3. Risk Control & Mitigation Strategies

  • Recommend engineering controls, safety measures, and process improvements.
  • Develop emergency response plans and contingency strategies.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis of risk reduction measures.

4. Data Collection & Risk Modeling

  • Use software tools (e.g., BowTieXP, PHAST, RiskWatch) for risk analysis and simulations.
  • Collect and analyze historical incident data to predict future risks.
  • Perform probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) and reliability studies.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and safety teams.
  • Conduct risk awareness training for employees.
  • Participate in design reviews, audits, and safety case studies.

6. Incident Investigation & Reporting

  • Analyze root causes of accidents or near-miss events.
  • Recommend corrective actions and preventative measures.
  • Maintain detailed records of risk assessments and incidents.

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor emerging risks, technological advancements, and industry trends.
  • Develop new methodologies for improving risk assessment processes.
  • Support sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
