- Responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including recruitment, orientation, and training of new staff members.
- Handling employee disciplinary issues and grievances, providing advice, counseling, or taking disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and IR regulations.
- Ensuring employees understand and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Preparing all HR-related letters, contracts, and memos for the company, handling a systematic filing system and ensuring the safe keeping of private and confidential documents.
- Maintaining staff personal records and databases, ensuring information is updated regularly.
- Managing HRDC grant applications and claims.
- Managing office supplies and stationery, ordering and replenishing stocks as needed.
- Assisting in organizing company training, events, and employee engagement activities.
- Attending to HR-related inquiries from internal and external personnel.
Handling any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by a superior.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintaining sufficient stock of office stationery and supplies.
- Overseeing office premises to ensure they are in good state of repair and maintenance at all times through liaising with service providers.
- Assisting with foreign workers’ work permit applications and renewals.
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel.
- Ensuring correspondence, reports, filing, and record-keeping are consistent with company guidelines and procedures.
- Checking staff claims and submitting them to the accounts department.
Requirements:
- Preferably 1-3 years of working experience in the HR field; fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Preferably a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any related field.
- Required Skills: Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Must have good communication and public relations skills and be able to interact well with people at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- A team player who is dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Immediate availability will be an advantage
