Objectives:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting physical stock counts, using inventory systems and equipment (including handheld devices PDA/ Panda), and reporting findings to management. You must ensure accuracy in tracking stock and collaborate with various teams to verify stock levels. Stocktakes are required after business hours or early in the morning before the business starts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the companies stocktakes, including annual, monthly, and weekly counts, following the Company’s Stocktake SOP.
  • Understand the daily operations and factors affecting stock levels, including dried goods and fresh items like vegetables, poultry, seafood, and fruits.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies between actual stock and backend records.
  • Identify inventory issues causing discrepancies and suggest actions to reduce them, ensuring proper implementation.
  • Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, adjustments, and inventory operations for management review.
  • Report any non-compliance or procedural breaches by supervisors or staff affecting inventory management.
  • Identify items with frequent discrepancies and conduct regular stock counts as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is require for the position.
  • Familiar with Panda retail backend system and supermarket products would be added advantage.
  • Able to complete tasks (with the Company’s standard) within the datelines.
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer Literate and savvy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and any other Accounting/Stock/Material System will be add advantange
