1. Quality Assurance Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the QA team, including training and development.

3. Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing QA processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in quality assurance, testing methodologies, and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments, aiming to minimize defects and optimize processes.

4. Product Testing & Validation

  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Ensure proper validation and testing of products, systems, or services before release.
  • Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

5. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.).
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address gaps where necessary.
  • Stay updated on new quality standards and regulatory changes affecting the organization.

6. Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, customer service, etc.) to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Communicate quality issues and improvement initiatives to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.

7. Supplier Quality Management

  • Work with suppliers to ensure that the materials and components meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality throughout the supply chain.

8. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process variations, etc.) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to leadership.
  • Use quality management tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC) to support decision-making and process improvements.

9. Customer Feedback & Satisfaction

  • Monitor customer feedback related to product or service quality.
  • Investigate customer complaints, resolve issues, and implement preventive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Establish mechanisms for tracking and improving customer experience.

10. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks related to product quality and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure that risk management practices are adhered to.

A QA leader should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of industry-specific quality standards. Leadership and communication skills are also critical for managing teams and collaborating across departments.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
