- Ensure that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.).
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address gaps where necessary.
- Stay updated on new quality standards and regulatory changes affecting the organization.
6. Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, customer service, etc.) to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Communicate quality issues and improvement initiatives to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
7. Supplier Quality Management
- Work with suppliers to ensure that the materials and components meet the organization's quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality throughout the supply chain.
8. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process variations, etc.) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to leadership.
- Use quality management tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC) to support decision-making and process improvements.
9. Customer Feedback & Satisfaction
- Monitor customer feedback related to product or service quality.
- Investigate customer complaints, resolve issues, and implement preventive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Establish mechanisms for tracking and improving customer experience.
10. Risk Management
- Identify potential risks related to product quality and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure that risk management practices are adhered to.
