Logistics Customer Service Executive

The company is a Singapore based company, offering a one-stop total logistics solutions.
Its expertise includes - Airfreight & Seafreight (Import & Export), Transhipment Cargoes, Consolidation Services, Custom Brokerage, Warehouse, Distribution & Packing Services, Projects & Exhibition Cargoes, Cargo Insurance and Warehousing.
Responsibilities:
· Coordination on shipping rate profiling and negotiate with carries.
· Check shipping schedule, place a booking, verify and file shipping documents & (B/L) and submit necessary documents to carriers and agents
· Communicate with internal/ external counterparts, vendors, agents and customers to arrange shipment via phone call, email and messengers.
· Key in necessary information into the system, verify costs and issue an invoice.
· Monitor shipment status on daily basis and make a daily report.
· Report any incident and escalate any operational issue.
· Handle other ad-hoc tasks assigned by a superior.
· Assists with notification of changes in the market and rates to the global team.
Requirements:
· Candidates must possess at least SPM, Diploma or Advanced / Higher/ transportation or equivalent.
· At least 3-5 years (s) of working experience in logistics.
· Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
· Possess problem solving skills
· Meticulous and able to multi-task
· Required skill(s): Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, self-disciplines, computer literate, presentation preparation and report.
· Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
· Willing to work half day on Saturday
· Willing to work in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang
