Responsibilities:
- Continually monitor, review, and improve company environmental and OSH programs and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Execute enforcement to ensure all activities are in alignment with environmental and OSH regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, safety audits to ensure activities are perform in accordance with environmental, and OSH requirements.
- Liaise on behalf of the company with appointed client environmental and OSH personnel and local government authorities and agencies such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, KKM, NIOSH, etc.
- Execute and review HIRARC for all routine and non-routine activities.
- Established, organize and coordinate Health and Safety Committee meetings and activities.
- Develop and conduct all environmental and OSH trainings.
- Established, coordinate and managed Emergency Response Team and its related activities.
- Organise/support EHS outreach activities and promotional programmes.
- Prepare report, data analysis related to EHS matters.
- Track environmental, safety and health metrics.
Requirements:
- Degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Science or its equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience as EHS Engineer in a Semi-Conductor Wafer Fabrication Plant is preferred.
- DOSH Registered Safety and Health Officer will be and added advantage.
- Experience with hazard assessment, data analysis and root cause investigation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (excellent in Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication, negotiation and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to speak in Mandarin and English.
