Job Title: Senior Hotel Housekeeper Expected Salary: MYR 1,800 – MYR 2,200 Location: The Sigar @Sutera Bay About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Hotel Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across our properties. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining impeccable environments, leading a team, and delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: • Perform thorough cleaning duties in all guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and lobby areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment. • Extend cleaning services to the Company’s related properties as required. • Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging services to guests, ensuring a memorable and positive experience. • Promptly respond to guest requests and inquiries with efficiency and a customer-focused approach. • Manage and maintain inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times. • Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies or shortages. • Identify and report maintenance issues or repairs needed in a timely manner to ensure operational efficiency. • Strictly adhere to the Company’s housekeeping standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. Requirements: • Proven experience in a housekeeping role, with the ability to lead and motivate a small team of housekeepers. • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments. • Willingness to travel and work across multiple properties/hotels within the Kota Kinabalu city area, if and when necessary. • Physical stamina and the ability to move around properties efficiently, including lifting and carrying supplies as needed. • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
