[SH] Assistant Warehouse Manager | RM5,000 to RM6,500 | Pasir Gudang

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities such as receiving, storing, inventory management, picking, and packing orders.
• Ensure smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, from receipt to shipment.
• Supervise the handling of goods and ensure proper storage to prevent damage.

2. Staff Management:

• Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and accuracy.
• Assign tasks and ensure that all team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage work schedules, attendance, and ensure staff are meeting performance targets.

3. Inventory Control:

• Maintain accurate stock levels by coordinating with inventory control teams and conducting regular stock checks.
• Ensure proper documentation for stock movements and updates in the inventory system.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure that warehouse workers follow safety protocols (e.g., PPE use, safe lifting, fire safety).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.

5. Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with transport teams for timely shipment and delivery of goods.
• Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and logistics teams to streamline operations and meet customer demands.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate and review reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
• Provide recommendations to the Warehouse Manager for improvements in workflow and resource allocation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years in warehouse or logistics management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
• Diploma or Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Willing to work 6 days per week: Monday to Saturday (8:30am to 5:00pm)
• Physical ability to lift and move goods may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
