About the Role

Hasprime Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Senior Java Developer to work under an outsourced project for Rakuten. This role requires an experienced Java Developer to analyze business requirements, translate them into development tasks, and oversee the delivery timeline and resources. You will also support and troubleshoot ongoing production systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy applications using Java/J2EE, OOP, and relational databases (RDBMS).

Work with Java JSP, JavaScript, HTML, microservices, and distributed message-based applications.

Develop multi-threaded applications and work with TCP/UDP socket programming.

Implement and maintain APIs (RESTful) and backend services.

Utilize version control tools like Git and work in Linux-based environments.

Configure and manage Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, Nginx, HAProxy).

Document applications including technical white papers, user guides, and operations manuals.

Work in a shift-based environment as required.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of relevant work experience in Java development.

Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, MQ, and Redis (Advantageous).

Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.

Proficiency in Linux commands, shell scripting, and Cron jobs.

Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
