We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Operations Research intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply advanced analytical techniques to real-world challenges facing the airline industry. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to projects that directly impact key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to identify and dene key operational problems.
  • Develop and implement mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex optimization problems, leveraging techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, and simulation.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods and programming languages like Python.
  • Develop data visualizations and reports to communicate ndings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of optimization solutions in operational systems.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our analytical processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial
  • Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative eld.
  • Strong understanding of optimization techniques and algorithms.
  • Prociency in programming languages such as Python , including relevant data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
  • Familiarity with Linear Programming.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with specic airline operational domains such as revenue management, crew scheduling, or network planning.
